The continued need for support to the Ukraine Relief Fund -
On June 6, 2023, the hydroelectric dam in Nova Kakhovka, near Kherson, Ukraine, was destroyed, flooding more than 100 towns and villages in southern Ukraine and forcing tens of thousands of war-weary Ukrainians to flee their flooded homes and farms to safer locations.
Ukrainian officials believe this catastrophe will leave hundreds of thousands of people without drinking water and destroy large regions of rich agricultural land, impacting the harvest of grain and the overall food supply.
