A recap of 2024 from Vlad Chernyaev with Missionary Training Center, Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary.

Dear Friends,

I sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas and I thank you for your prayers and support.

This year, we have served God and the people of Ukraine in many ways. In 2024, I made 31 trips to the frontline. We brought 100 food parcels during each of them, meaning about 3,100 people heard the Gospel and received our humanitarian aid. Most of the trips were made to Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. A church was founded in this city during the war. Many events took place there, and people continued to come to Bible studies even in the middle of the week.

We also evacuated four families from frontline towns and villages. We took two families out of their homes, helping them to load the things that could fit in our van. It is incredibly distressing to witness people having to decide what few belongings to salvage from their homes, knowing that they must leave the majority behind. Two more families lost their homes due to the destruction, so we helped them salvage what belongings they could. They are all safe now.

I also started a new project - **On the Shield**this year. Currently, my team consists of 33 brothers from churches in the Poltava region. Our mission is to deliver the bodies of fallen soldiers to their families. In this way, we can serve widows who have lost their husbands and parents who have lost their children. Three weeks ago, we were transporting a body to a mother who was dying of cancer, and we were asked to do it as soon as possible. During the journey, due to the icy conditions, our van went off the road and overturned. Thank God the crew was not injured, only the vehicle we are currently repairing to continue our ministry.

Another area of our ministry is visiting hospitals, stabilization centers, and doctors. There, we serve as chaplains, helping the wounded soldiers. Not only the body but also the soul needs to be treated. We preach Christ, who died for everyone, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.

I ask you not to stop praying for Ukraine, for peace to come here, and for our ministry so that we can continue to give people hope by telling them about Jesus. I also ask you not to forget about your financial support—every trip or car repair requires significant funds.

May God’s blessing be with you in the New Year,

Sincerely yours, Vlad Chernyaev
