Rachel Anderson is from Mora, Minnesota. She first traveled to Ukraine with her family at the age of 9 through the Love Lift, Ukraine Sister Church program. Since then, she has had a deep love for Ukraine and a passion for missions. She attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and graduated with a degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). After graduating college, she felt called to the mission field and started the process of training to be a missionary.

Currently, she lives in Poltava, Ukraine, where she serves as a missionary in a local church. She is involved mainly in youth ministry and helps with various youth group clubs and small groups. She also teaches Sunday School occasionally and helps wherever else may be needed. She plans to serve long-term in Ukraine.

She is passionate about missions in general and is grateful to be a part of what God is doing through the work of READ ministries to provide resources and support to the Church in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
