War in Ukraine

A Thanksgiving Message from Ukraine!

Dear READ friends - be blessed by this brief Thanksgiving video message from our READ partners in Kremenchuk...

"Thank you for all you do to help keep Ukraine strong in the fight against the evil coming from the terrorist Russian Federation. Thanks to your support, every week, 400 refugees receive food and psychological and spiritual help during Bible studies in small groups."

And personally from our friend and partner and his family...

Dear Friends, Happy Thanksgiving from Ukraine!
This year is a special year! Nine months ago, on February 24, Russia started a war against Ukraine. And now that almost all of Ukraine is without electricity, heating, and water, we have learned to appreciate and thank God more for every day we live, food, warmth, and clothing. We thank God for our families, for our friends, and for each of you who are standing with us!Your prayers, your help, your encouragement, and your generous donations help us to stand strong and continue our ministry. The seminary continues to train church leaders and care for refugees who are staying in our dormitory. Hundreds of people received evacuation assistance and tens of thousands of refugees not only received food aid but also had a chance to hear the Gospel. We pray that God will bless all of you, your families, and your churches.
In Christ, Ivan and Lucia Ovcharenko

"You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.  For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God" (2Co.9:11,12)
